How to Recycle Holiday Waste in Larimer County and Weld County

As the holiday season falls upon us, we want to help our Northern Colorado community understand the best ways to manage their abundance of waste. From trees to broken lights and turkey grease, we have researched local options to help you rid yourself of the clutter.

CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING OPTIONS:

+++PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE CHANGES TO TREE RECYCLING DROP-OFF SITES THIS  2020 HOLIDAY SEASON+++

  • Fees may apply.
  • Some locations have discontinued drop-off access in 2020.
  • If your community is not on the list, you can still use any Larimer County site.
  • Before dropping off your tree to be recycled, all items must be removed including lights, wires, hooks, ornaments, tinsel, and fake snow.

PICK-UP SERVICE:

GSI customers can request a special curbside pick-up of your christmas tree or other bulky items, like furniture, by calling in advance. Your route driver will pick it up and take it to the landfill. Email us at custserv@gsiwaste.com or call 970-484-5556.
